More fun moments...
Switzerland
Switzerland was a favorite for all of us. The kids really enjoyed being outdoors in that good country air. We had so much fun there.

There must have been something about these rocks, we couldn't stop smiling.
After coming out of the Trummelbach Falls, we came across this field and couldn't resist the chance of a photo op. I couldn't understand why the kids were so reluctant to enter the long grass. Then it dawned on me. We are forever warning them to stay out of long grass back home, for fear of snakes.Once I assured them that there were no snakes in Switzerland (I have since learned there are snakes, just no deadly ones)
The kids dived right in.

Burgundy
Burgundy was our last stop before reaching Paris. It was one of the best evenings as we were altogether at this marvelous chateau. The weather was glorious, and all we had to do was sit back and enjoy ourselves. A marque had been set up in the garden for our dinner. We would be entertained by a local duo, luckily Sarah had given us a heads up on what to expect. We were offered a wine tasting for the adults, while the kids played in the extensive gardens. A perfect night.

The next morning we headed of towards Paris. Our final destination of our tour. On our way we stopped at Guedelon Castle. It is a castle being built from scratch using medieval building techniques. It looks like it has been standing for centuries.
Paris
Finally we have reached the Holy Grail, Paris France!
We hit the ground running. After checking in at the hotel, we headed off for our first experience of the Paris metro. Without Sarah's expert guidance this would have be a daunting task. Off to the Lourve we go. When we arrived we had time to explore the Carrousel Du Louvre the shopping mall before our tour began. Sarah suggested that perhaps now would be a good time for a toilet stop. She pointed us in the right direction, telling us it would be worth every penny. Then we saw it the Point WC Paris.
One of the most expensive toilets in Europe. Worth every penny for a look. We paid the minimum 2.50 euros each to enter. You could pay up to 7.50 euros, that included a glass of champagne. Armed with my camera we ventured in. An usher then escorted us to a cubicle, and then we were left to our own devices.
Then into the Lourve to see some masterpieces and have some fun.
The following morning was filled with a walking tour of Paris and a river cruise down the Seine.
That evening was to be our last. Our farewell dinner was at La Terrasse. a bittersweet moment, none of us wanted our trip to come to an end. We didn't want to break up our newly formed family.
"Que Sera Sera"
Then it was off for a late evening stroll to the Eiffel Tower (just saying those words sends shivers down my spine). Once there we reminisced about the fun times we had on our tour.
