Families...
At the start of our tour when we met for for the first time, Sarah told us to look at the strangers in the room. She assured us that by the end of our two weeks together, we would be like a family. I can honestly say I thought she was off her rocker. There was no way that would be happening. Let me tell you, she was right. somehow this motley crew came together as one unit. It was indeed a very teary farewell for us all. Made all the harder for us, as we don't even live in the same country as our new family. But thanks to wonders of modern technology we have remained in contact.
Then there is our immediate family. This was such a unique experience for us, to spend so much time all together 24/7. To make our long journey worthwhile we stayed on in France for a further two weeks. It was a very bonding experience. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't all a bed of roses. There were times when we couldn't stand the sight of one another. But they are not the times we remember most, and if we do it is with laughter and humor.
Our Extended Families
Blended Families
Taking family photos on tour is"like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get"
Just when you think you've nailed it, they just keep coming.
Blended Sibblings
The Von Trapp Family Singers
We were trying to make a video of the Sound of Music. I think they were all suffering from stage fright. The singing was what you would expect, not that great. But I didn't expect them to all be so stiff, not animated at all.. Maybe the were to stunned by the spectacular backdrop.

On our tour the kids ages ranged from 8 to 16. They all got on so well. No one was excluded in any way, which could easily happened with that number of kids and the age differences. It was lovely to see them all interacting so well together.
